Norad chooses Intility

Norad has chosen Intility’s end-to-end platform service for its entire IT environment.

Norad is the agency for development cooperation and works to ensure that the world achieves the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Climate and Environment, Norad manages a large portion of Norway’s aid funds. In 2023, this amounted to more than 24 billion Norwegian kroner.

The procurement entails that Norad will establish a new IT platform independent of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (UD). Led by former politician of the Socialist Left Party and Minister Bård Vegar Solhjell, Norad is based in Oslo and employs more than 300 staff members.

Intility is a platform service used by more than 600 companies across 2,500 locations in Scandinavia and the rest of the world. Intility consists of an industrialized IT infrastructure and a multi-cloud operating platform delivered as a service.

Intility serves as a digital foundation and catalyst for companies looking to leverage technology to enhance their own productivity and competitiveness.
