Sustainability
Technology and digitalization for a more sustainable world
At Intility, we are committed to creating a platform where shared services help reduce the carbon footprint and make better use of resources.
Our work
Sustainability on the Intility platform
As part of our strategy to build an automated and fully managed platform service that acts as a catalyst for digitalization, we remain dedicated to sustainability in all aspects of our business.
Our current sustainability initiatives and future ambitions are driven not only by our internal values but also by increasing demands from our customers, partners, authorities, and the environment at large.
We are implementing several key sustainability initiatives, which are detailed in this year’s sustainability report.

Intility's report on due diligence assessments
Intility falls within the scope of the Norwegian Transparency Act and is therefore obliged to conduct due diligence assessments in accordance with the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises under Transparency Act Section 4. Additionally, Intility is required to publicly disclose a report on the due diligence assessments as stated in Section 5. The purpose of the law is to promote respect for fundamental human rights and decent working conditions in the production of goods and provision of services by businesses, and to ensure public access to information on how businesses address negative impacts on fundamental human rights and decent working conditions, as outlined in Section 1.
In short, larger businesses are required to actively work towards safeguarding and assessing risks related to human rights and working conditions within their own operations, supply chains, and business partnerships, as stipulated by the Transparency Act.

Digitization
Sustainability and technology
By utilizing technology and digitalization, companies not only boost productivity and competitiveness, but also improve their sustainability. Supporting customers’ digital transformation is Intility’s biggest contribution to sustainability, in financial, social, and environmental aspects.
At Intility, we are devoted to increasing access to information and communication technology. Our goal is to contribute to technological development that benefits society, and we believe all companies benefit from the power of technology. Intility creates a standardized and comprehensive platform for all its companies. Regardless of size and sector, every company is granted access to Intility’s fully managed IT infrastructure, previously only accessible to large companies. This means that every company on the platform receives the benefits of advancements and innovation occurring either by Intility or within its partner ecosystem.
Reporting
Becoming better at sustainability
At Intility, our approach is that sustainability is a continuous process where we always will strive to get better.
To work holistically and structured with sustainability, we have chosen to follow – and report upon the SDG’s and the UN Global Compact’s 10 principles. These frameworks help us structure and prioritize the work, while the reporting is an important part of assessing the actual effects of our work.
Intility is also certified as an Eco-lighthouse and has worked targeted with our own climate impact since 2013.

Collaboration
To succeed we need to work together
Sustainability and the UN’s goals are matters that concern the entire world, and we can all contribute to help achieve them. To succeed as a company, and in our work with the SDG’s, we must work together – both internally and externally.
Customers, partners, suppliers, and the business community are our most important partners. Our work with the UN Global Compact will be important in the future, and we will report to them on our selected objectives and follow up on these, in collaboration with stakeholders and the society in which we operate.
Intility will contribute towards important measures on sustainability and believes that the opportunities for increased innovation and implementation increases in collaboration with other companies and networks.
