Lunera Energi (formerly Statkraft Varme) is one of Norway's leading district heating suppliers, covering over 30 percent of the heating needs in Trondheim through the city's district heating network. The company plays a central role in the development of future energy solutions and works to be a driving force in the green transition.
As part of the carve-out process from Statkraft, Lunera Energi is being established as an independent company on a complete digital foundation, delivered as a service by Intility.
The delivery meets strict requirements for security, availability, and operational robustness for critical societal infrastructure.
– We are pleased to have Intility on board as Lunera Energi is now being established as an independent company. A strong digital foundation is essential for us to be able to deliver safe and sustainable energy to Trondheim in the future as well, and we look forward to a close and good collaboration, says Ragnvald Moberg, Head of Digitalization at Lunera Energi.
Intility is used by more than 700 organizations across 3,000 locations in the Nordics and the rest of the world. Among these are the Norwegian Directorate of Health, Hafslund, Cedra, BDO, and NG Nordic.
