BDO selects Intility as the digital foundation for the company's IT platform and further digital development.
BDO is one of Norway's leading advisory and audit firms, with 1,450 employees and 50 offices across the country. The company provides services in auditing, advisory, and legal services, and is a trusted partner for more than 34,000 Norwegian businesses in both the private and public sectors.
In 2025, BDO sold its accounting business, which is now continued under the company Enora. In the autumn of 2025, Enora chose Intility's platform service for its IT environment. The separation paves the way for further development and growth, both at BDO and in the new business, while also allowing BDO to focus more clearly on its core business of auditing, advisory, and legal services.
"BDO is entering a new phase with continued growth and a sharper strategic focus on auditing and specialized advisory services. To succeed with this, we need a solid digital foundation. The agreement with Intility helps us realize our digital ambitions," says Jørgen Brodtkorb, IT Director at BDO.
The agreement with Intility will establish a robust, scalable, and secure digital foundation for BDO's continued development.
"After nearly 20 years with Intility, we know the value of a long-term partner that helps us free up time and capacity to realize our digital ambitions," says Brodtkorb. The delivery includes a digital foundation delivered as a service, where people, technology, network, security, software, and operational services are developed and managed as a single whole. This will give BDO a modern and flexible foundation for employees in different roles, while safeguarding security, compliance, and control in an increasingly complex threat and regulatory landscape.
"BDO holds a strong position in Norwegian business life and plays an important role for organizations across the country. We are very grateful for the trust BDO places in us, and look forward to contributing a platform that will support the company's continued development, digital ambitions, and AI initiatives in the years ahead," says Andreas Hisdal, CEO of Intility.
Intility is currently used by more than 700 organizations across 3,000 locations in the Nordics and the rest of the world, including Hafslund, Helsedirektoratet, Norad, Ferd, Folketrygdfondet, BAHR, and Cedra.
