The Directorate for Export Control and Sanctions (DEKSA) has chosen Intility’s platform service for its IT operations.
DEKSA became operational in January 2025 and is responsible for implementing the government’s policies and following up on Norway’s international commitments related to the export of defense materials, dual-use goods, and other sensitive technology. The Directorate is also responsible for enforcing sanctions that Norway has endorsed.
The agreement entails DEKSA’s migration out of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the establishment of a new IT platform built on a complete digital foundation, delivered as a service by Intility. This includes end-to-end operational responsibility for DEKSA’s IT environment – from end users, devices, and networks to mission-critical applications in the public cloud.
Intility is an industrialized platform service used by more than 700 organizations across over 3,000 locations in the Nordics and internationally. This includes several public institutions, such as Norges Bank, Eidsiva, Norad, the Norwegian Directorate for Cultural Heritage, Flytoget, and Folketrygdfondet.
