The Norwegian Air Ambulance Foundation chooses Intility

The Norwegian Air Ambulance Foundation and Norsk Luftambulanse Helikopter choose Intility’s platform service for their entire IT environment.

Norsk Luftambulanse Helikopter is commissioned by Luftambulansetjenesten HF to operate all 13 medical helicopter bases in Norway. The company also operates the national medical helicopter scheme at all four medical helicopter bases in Denmark. The bases are on 24-hour standby and the medical helicopters are manned by a pilot, rescuer and anesthesiologist, and are equipped with advanced medical equipment. The air ambulance service provides specialized emergency medicine and is an integral part of the public emergency medical response.

The Norwegian Air Ambulance Foundation is a non-profit organization that works to ensure that everyone who is acutely ill or seriously injured receives faster and more appropriate medical assistance, no matter where they are in Norway. The foundation exercises active ownership of Norwegian Air Ambulance Helicopter and contributes to the continuous development and improvement of the air ambulance service through innovation, research and skills development. More than 300,000 supporters and 4,000 supporting companies ensure that the Norwegian Air Ambulance Foundation is one of Europe’s leading research institutions in prehospital emergency medicine.
